The Student Conservation Association
Internships and high school 3-5 week summer crews. Ages 15- 19 develop leadership, team spirit and wilderness work skills while connecting with and caring for Planet Earth.

Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholars- online course and summer academy at NASA Langley Research Center.
DEADLINE- NOVEMBER 6

US Senate Youth Program
The Virginia Department of Education will select two student delegates to represent Virginia in the United States Senate Youth Program sponsored by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation. Each delegate will receive a $5,000 scholarship and an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., in March 2010.

George Washington University pre-college programs (grades 9-11)
Would you like a chance to get away for the summer and receive college credits while vacationing?

George Washington University in Washington D.C. is sponsoring a Pre-College program this upcoming summer of 2011. High school student from around the country will be giving an opportunity to experience college life first hand. During their stay at GWU students will be giving the option of taking Credited or Non-Credited courses taught by GWU professors and live on campus.
